It's important to know that because some people get so caught up in their own stories, they tend to discard other people's feelings and cast their personal histories over the side. Don't do that. We all deserve to be heard. You have the emotional intelligence to tell the person who doesn't appreciate your sound advice to pound sand! My biggest beef is that when I tell someone my story or favorite event, I listen to someone's story with caring ears and then offer insightful opinions that correlate with their story. That person person looks at me and callously says, "Oh? Well, anyway..." Oh, anyway? Can there be another careless word by someone to use that demonstrates a total disregard for your own story? It's like telling you, "Who cares!" No one wa...
